Turquoise jewelry in Kingman, Arizona.
Our shop is at 407 E Beale St, in the heart of historic downtown Kingman, in downtown Kingman. Open Monday through Saturday, 11 AM to 5 PM.
Why Kingman is the place to buy turquoise
Kingman sits in the high desert of northwest Arizona, on Route 66, about a hundred miles southeast of Las Vegas and a hundred and ten miles west of Flagstaff. It's also home to a turquoise mine with a long history. The Kingman mine is historically associated with the highest-grade American turquoise on the market.
That matters. Most "turquoise" sold to tourists in Sedona, Vegas, or Old Town Albuquerque isn't from Kingman, and a lot of it isn't turquoise at all. It's dyed howlite, magnesite, or stabilized stone from China. Buying turquoise in the Kingman area is the cleanest way to know you're getting the real thing.
