Turquoise Rings in Kingman, AZ — no two stones the same.
Mine-direct stones in sterling silver, set by Indigenous silversmiths and our in-house bench. Pieces start around $150 and run up through $1,500 for the gem-grade material.
What's on the floor right now
Our ring case rotates fast. On any given week you'll find a mix of single-stone domes, cluster settings, inlay work, oval cabochons in heavy-gauge silver, and a handful of statement pieces with gem-grade Kingman material that we don't pull out unless asked. Walk in and we'll lay them out on the velvet for you.
If you came here looking for something specific — say, a wedding band with an inlaid stripe of Kingman, or a women's signet ring with a single high-dome stone — call ahead. Most of those we either have in the back or can build in two to three weeks.
What makes our rings different
Three things. First, the stone. Real Kingman turquoise has a specific look: deep blue with green undertone, often with a soft brown or black matrix running through it. We don't sell dyed howlite that's been cooked to look the part. We don't sell Chinese stone repackaged as American. If you want to see the raw rough that a particular ring's stone came from, we'll show you.
Second, the setting. We work in sterling silver almost exclusively. Heavy gauge, hand-stamped where applicable, set by silversmiths whose families have been doing this for generations. A lot of what's on the case is signed by the Native artisan who made it.
Third, the rule. If we wouldn't wear it ourselves, it doesn't go in the case. That keeps the bar high and the inventory honest.
Custom rings
Bring us a stone you already own, or pick one from our raw rough collection. We'll talk through the setting style, draw it up, and quote it before we cut anything. Most custom rings finish in two to three weeks. The longest we've worked on a single piece was six weeks for a multi-stone inlay band — every cut had to land perfectly to make the pattern work.
Pricing for custom work depends almost entirely on the stone. The setting labor is usually $200–$450. The stone is whatever the stone is.
Wear and care
Kingman turquoise is one of the harder turquoises mined in North America, but it's still a relatively soft stone (5–6 on the Mohs scale, compared to 9 for sapphire and 10 for diamond). It lasts decades if you treat it right. A few rules:
- Take the ring off before you wash dishes, swim, or apply lotion.
- Avoid exposure to bleach, ammonia, and household cleaners.
- Buff the silver with a soft cloth occasionally; the stone needs nothing.
- Store in a cloth pouch, not piled with other rings that can scratch the cabochon.
